BYUtv’s The Fixers Earns 3 Daytime Emmy Nominations

(2025-08-14, Boston, MA, Special to the U.S. Times) The 52nd Daytime Emmy Awards are set to premiere on October 17th, 2025, and will be showcasing the best of this year’s daytime programming.
Coming in with three Emmy nominations is BYUtv’s The Fixers, a reality show centered on four expert builders who travel the globe to help communities in need. From converting a bus into a mobile classroom in Bangladesh to helping the Maasai construct a bread processing plant in Kenya, The Fixers is a series dedicated to bringing about positive, radical change.
Having concluded its fourth season in March 2024, The Fixers was nominated for Outstanding Instructional/How-To Program, Outstanding Multiple Camera Editing, and Outstanding Daytime Personality, putting the spotlight on the show’s titular “fixers” Andi Sweeney Blanco, Courtney Dover, Rob North, and Kirin Stone.
In the meantime, as the industry counts down the months until award season, the chief editor of USTimes, Cirina Catania, had the opportunity to sit down with Andi, Courtney, and Rob for an upcoming OWC RADiO podcast discussing their incredible experiences working on the show. The full interview will be coming soon, so keep your eyes peeled, and be sure to subscribe to the podcast! You will not want to miss what we have in store.
The 52nd Daytime Emmy Awards will be broadcast live on CBS and streamed on Paramount+.
Episodes of The Fixers are available to stream on BYUtv’s official website.
